Based in Adelaide in scenic South Australia, with approximately 90 employees, Beach has a proud and unique culture which has spread throughout its workforce. Over the past 50 years, we've grown to become one of Australia's top ten largest oil and gas producers.

We operate predominantly in the Cooper Basin located in the Australian outback. We have other, smaller interests in an offshore operation in the Gippsland Basin off the southern coast and the Gulf of Suez in Egypt. Beach has an impressive exploration portfolio with interests in tenements in Australia, Egypt, Tanzania, New Zealand, Spain, Papua New Guinea and Albania.

Beach is exploring for shale gas in the Cooper Basin, which we believe has the potential to fuel domestic power for Australia in the future. Beach has a history of investing early in innovative technologies and the shale gas story is another example of this. As a first step we have established alliances with US companies to assist with the required drilling techology and we are on the way to our goal of doubling reserves and production within the next two to five years.
